We didn't go to Macau for sightseeing, our main goal was to visit my mom's older sister and her children.

Me in disguise 我 的 大 戲 相
One of my itineraries was to have studio pictures taken, dress in Chinese Opera costumes. One thing good about wearing this type of costume: with the drastic makeup, even my own mother could not reconize me! So, no problem posting it on the world wild web! LOL~
返 香 港 當 然 小 不 了 去 影 樓 影 大 戲 相 ！ 大 戲 相 的 好 處 是 化 了 妝 後 ， 連 自 己 媽 媽 也 認 不 出 ， 公 諸 於 世 也 無 妨！

Tai O - Venice of Hong Kong 大 澳 水 鄉
Tai O is an old fishing village on Lantau Island. In the old days, the villagers, called Tanka (meaning boat-dwellers),
live in houses called 'stilt houses' (see photo). Tanka people used their small boats to transport goods, thus Tai O got a nickname,
'the Venice of Hong Kong'.
大 澳 水 鄉 有 著 百 多 年 歷 史 ﹐ 在 此 的 居 住 的 多 是 客 家 人 ﹐ 大 部 分 以 捕 魚 為 生 ﹐ 又 稱 鄧 家 人 ﹐ 住 在 水 上 棚 屋 。 當 年 村 民 以 舢 舨 出 入 ﹐ 故 而 大 澳 水 鄉 又 稱 為 [ 東 方 威 尼 斯 ]。
