A nice surprise 一 個 驚 喜

What a pleasant surprise! Just when I thought the orchid bloom was at its end, I found out a new shoot has silently branched out from the tip of the stalk and has five new buds!

嘩﹐ 開 了 兩 個 月 的 蘭 花 在 上 周 逐 一 凋 萎 ﹐ 誰 知 今 天 看 真 些 ﹐ 花 莖 的 尖 端 不 祇 多 了 一 條 分 枝 ﹐ 還 更 長 了 五 個 花 蕊 ﹗

This is the second blooming since I brought it home, it did just the same at the first blooming. With the window facing southwest, the plant must be very happy as it is exposed to full sunlight all day long.

這 是 買 回 來 第 二 次 開 花 ﹐ 第 一 次 也 是 同 樣 地 分 枝 長 花 ﹐ 我 想 它 是 很 喜 歡 被 放 在 這 個 向 西 南 的 窗 ﹐ 整 天 有 著 光 猛 的 陽 光 。

The reason I didn't notice the new shoot for this is the normal viewing angle.
一 直 不 知 分 枝 的 出 現 是 因 為 從 這 個 角 度 是 看 不 到 的 。

This is last month, when all the flowers were fully bloomed. The first one bloomed in early April. They remained fully bloomed for over a month.
第 一 朵 是 在 四 月 頭 出 的 ﹐ 到 五 月 中 所 有 花 才 全 部 開 盡 ﹔ 所 有 花 燦 爛 了 一 個 月 有 多 ﹐ 上 周 才 慢 慢 逐 一 說 再 見 。

      It is absolutely gorgeous! The flowers on both of my plants still going strong after 4 months. I wanted to buy another Orchid plant for myself this time and choose a type and color I like since the two I have was received as a gift.

      I like your white better than my colorful one.

      小 奀 子 ﹕ 無 法 啦 ﹐ 鬼 叫 我 係 我 你 又 唔 係 我 咩 ﹗

      雨 貓 ﹕ 上 個 月 我 分 別 替 人 在 Costco 買 了 兩 盆 紫 色 的 籣 花 ﹐ 花 是 細 過 這 白 的 一 些 ﹐ 莖 是 直 向 上 申 的 (我 的 是 打 橫 申 )﹐ 而 宜 很 高 。 兩 次 我 都 好 用 心 為 他 們 揀 最 壯 及 多 花 蕾 但 又 開 的 ﹐ 每 次 都 揀 到 有 三 條 花 莖 的 。

      誰 知 ﹐ 第 二 次 那 盆 拿 回 家 後 ﹐ 看 到 套 著 保 謢 它 的 膠 袋 把 一 塊 葉 子 壓 住 了 ﹐ 便 好 小 心 把 袋 向 下 拉 低 ﹐ 誰 知 ﹐ 鳴 鳴 鳴 ﹐ 真 是 喊 都 無 謂 ﹐ 最 幼 那 枝 莖 竟 被 KUK 在 膠 袋 透 氣 洞 中 ﹐ 被 我 扯 斷 了 最 尖 端 一 吋 ﹐ 上 有 兩 個 好 細 的 花 蕾 呢 ﹗ 嬲 了 自 己 成 兩 天 呀 ﹗

      思菩，經過呢次教訓，你下次拆袋就會把他剪開而不是往下拉，我都係做左花之後才學會架。

      唉﹐若果是買給我自己的就一定用 sicssors 剪開(那有咁好耐性慢慢向下拉呢﹖)﹐因是替人買﹐所以想留好個袋 so 佢在長途車中會有保謢嘛﹗
