Saw a house for sale on the web, located in Bisbee, Arizona, 82 miles south of Tucson, very close to the Mexico border (base on the map, my estimate is 10 miles, but I could be very off).

I was drawn in by the desert view from this house's living room.

Bisbee was found as a copper, good, and silver mining town in 1880, with a total population of 9,019 by 1910. With the mining decline and closure, the population was dropped to less than 6,000 by 1950.

It was until 1990s that it was rediscovered and redeveloped.

2000 年 因 其 歷 史 及 風 景 而 被 美 國 退 休 聯 會 選 為 退 休 佳 所 ﹐ 比 市 復 甦 了 。比 斯 比 市 面 積 為 12.5 平 方 公 里 ﹐ 根 據 2000 年 人 口 統 計 ﹐ 鎮 上 共 有 6,090 人 ﹐ 其 中 白 人 佔 84.12%, 土 著 (印 弟 安 人 ) 為 1.22% 。

This house offers a sweeping view down the hill towards San Jose peak (in Mexico). It’s on the southern flank of the Mule Mountains, about 10 minutes from historic downtown Bisbee, 10 minutes from Turquoise Valley Golf Course (and RV park), and 30 minutes from the nearest large town, Sierra Vista.
